Tension Compression Load Cell

The tension and pressure sensor independently developed and produced by Fibos adopts the principle of resistance strain type, with high-precision parallel beam strain structure, the measurement range covers 200g~5t, and the measurement accuracy is better than 0.1%F.S.; the resistance strain gauge is evenly pasted on the strain beam of the sensor to measure the strain during the force process and output the mv-level voltage signal through the full bridge to linearly feedback the change process of pressure; the upper and lower end faces contain threaded fixing holes, which makes it convenient for the sensor to measure pressure and tension; the sensor body is made of high-strength stainless steel, the surface is electrolytically polished, the material has high yield strength, good anti-interference and safety performance, the response frequency is higher than 2KHZ, the service life can reach more than 3 million times, the safe overload is 150%, and the limit overload can reach 200%; and it is designed with an S-shaped anti-overload groove. Once the use exceeds the design range, this structure can avoid sensor damage to a certain extent; the protection level can reach IP65. The sensor can work normally between -20~80℃; the sensor output signal cable adopts high-quality drag chain line, which has a long bending service life; the tension and compression force sensors produced by our company are now widely used in automated assembly, medical testing, robotics and other measurement work experiments.

WHAT IS LOAD CELL

LOAD CELL:

The S-type tension and pressure sensor uses metal elastomer as the elastic element, usually made of materials such as alloy steel or stainless steel, which have good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. When external force is applied to the sensor, the metal elastomer will undergo elastic deformation, and the resistance strain gauge attached to the surface of the elastomer will also deform accordingly, causing its resistance value to change (increase or decrease). Through the corresponding measurement circuit, this resistance change is converted into an electrical signal (voltage or current), thus completing the process of converting external force into an electrical signal. This type of sensor is not only used for measuring tension, but also for measuring pressure.
