A weighing sensor is a device that converts a mass signal into a measurable electrical signal output. Its core components are elastic materials and strain gauges. When an external force acts on an elastic material, it undergoes deformation, which is proportional to the force applied. When an object is placed on the sensor platform, external force is transmitted through the platform to the elastic element, causing it to deform. The strain effect caused by the deformation of the elastic element is detected by the Wheatstone bridge connected to the elastic element, which can convert the resistance change into voltage output. The output voltage is proportional to the load capacity, and after calibration, the weighing sensor has the characteristics of high accuracy, high sensitivity, and fast response. Alternatively, the weight of an object can be measured by utilizing the specific force magnitude relationship between gravity and support when the object is located at the center of the sensor. These principles embody the perfect combination of mechanical and electrical components, enabling weighing sensors to be widely used in various counting and weighing situations.
